Event Report: Kargil Vijay Divas Celebration

Organized by: NSS unit Kargil Vijay Divas is observed every year on 26th July to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the 1999 Kargil War. T pay tribute to the martyrs and celebrate the spirit of patriotism, our college organised a special event on this occasion.
The programme begin with the lighting of the lamp and a tribute ceremony in front of the kargil hero’s memorial display. The Principle addresed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas, reminding students of the courage and determination shown by the soldiers. A short documentary on the kargil Wof ar was screened, highlighting major operations like Operation Vijay and the conflict. A special speech competition was also conducted on the theme “Nation First — The Legacy of Kargil”.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. The event was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our soldiers and inspried everyone to the values of courage, unity, and patriotism. It successfully instilled pride in the praticipatins and strengthened their respect fir Armed Forces.
